Again Jesus said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade.” - Mark 4:30-32 The nature of Spiritual Growth As spiritual newborns, we don't grow suddenly into maturity. It is true that we are born again and justified before God, but our sanctification will take a while yet. Many of us still struggle to work out our salvation in our workplaces, in our families, and with our friends. The good thing is that we don't have to do it alone. We can learn so much from the experiences of others (while acknowledging that God's Word is ultimately the one that changes us). Growing together through Sharing Ruth and I came up with this idea of creating a website where we can share testimonies of people who have felt the power of God move in their lives. We know that we ourselves have grown from hearing these testimonies. If you have any testimonies you'd like to share, email us. If you're not sure about what a testimony is, we have included some basic information and links about what a testimony is and how to write one. We came up with some themes which might help you get started - conversions, full-time workers, in the marketplace (testimonies about working life) and tough times. Any sharing will do, so long as it is an encouragement to others =) We hope that like a mustard seed, this website will start small and grow and become a blessing to all. God Bless, Bim&Ruth
