Why Paper Pusher?

I guess this needs a bit of explaining -- why a paper pusher would want to spend time divulging his own thoughts on the web. What gain besides being seen as "in" and hopping on the global bandwidth hog? Blogging is a good way to clairfy one's thoughts. Ruth keeps her thoughts locked in a pass-word protected e-diary. She journals to think. I, on the other hand, probably need more empathy to get my brain juices working.

The struggles of a bureaucrat are not unique. It does seem quite "wrong" to write about the traumas of paper pushing when millions are falling like flies elsewhere round the world. I guess I just hope someone reading this page will also some resonance in his life -- and in return, seek to help me understand my place in the greater scheme of things.
